Our Story

Hello! My Name is Ben, I am passionate about Tiny Houses, Travel, Business, Construction, Design, Real Estate and People! I guess you can say that I have a lot of weird passions, right? I live here in Arriba, CO with my family in the Tiny House on Wheels that I built. We are dedicated to the Growth and Development of the Town of Arriba, Colorado.

The opportunity came about in 2022 to secure a dormant Campground in our town and we were excited to breathe new life into it. Long days and a year and a half later, we opened the RV Park on Labor Day of 2023. We have been so grateful for the love, support and feedback of our Customers and look forward to expanding our services as we move into our next phase of development.

This year, 2024, has been a whirlwind of development here at Big Ben’s. We moved into Phase 2 by setting up the Tiny House Community. We have 6 Pads developed with plans to develop the remaining 27 as we bring more folks in.

Phase 3 will commence as we see growth in 2025-2026. We will build 2 new bathhouses and a new Clubhouse; as well as update our current facilities. Hope to see y’all soon!

Update Year-End 2025: We saw an explosion of growth at the RV Park with local work projects in the area. This caused our 32 RV Sites to be FULL and allowed us to fully develop another 47 Sites to accommodate further demand. We currently have 72 RV Sites and 13 Tiny Home Pads (85 Sites). We will revert our 40 RV Sites back to 20 (60’ x 60’) Pads in the future. Thank you to all who have come and will come. You guys are AWESOME! 😊

Why We Exist

Big Ben’s was created to address the current affordable housing crisis, especially here in Colorado. We recognize that Housing is a growing struggle. We look to offer the space and structure for families to live within their means.

We do this be creating the Communities, manufacturing the Tiny House on Wheels via a sister company and providing a discount on the Community Pads for those purchasing the unit first-hand through our sister company (BHV Adventures).

We exist to create a Community-Focused, Sustainable Living, Family-Friendly Environment for Families desiring to live a Simple, Stable and Affordable lifestyle; providing them with a launchpad to experience Freedom, Community and Adventure with their excess income.
